『Foorin team E - Paprika』듣기, 최근 공개된 파프리카의 영어버전

일본의 천재 뮤지션으로 유명한 요네즈 켄시(米津玄師)가 작곡・작사한,  『파프리카(パプリカ）』의 영어 버전입니다. 『파프리카』는 원래 18년도에, 2020년 응원송 프로젝트의 일환으로 제작되어, 요네즈 켄시가 프로듀싱한 Foorin (당시, 초등학생 5명의 멤버) 이라는 유닛이 발표한 곡입니다. 이후 19년 8월에 요네즈 켄시 본인의 셀프 커버곡을 발표하면서 또 한 번의 인기를 끌고있죠. 어느 정도 인기냐면.. 제가 일본 음악 가사를 찾을 때 주로 이용하는 Uta-Net이라는 사이트가 있는데, 24만여 곡의 가사를 제공하고 있는 이 곳에서 얼마 전부터 역대 누적 조회수 1위에 올라가 있습니다.

 

2020년 도쿄 올림픽을 겨냥해서 세계인들에게도 『파프리카』를 알리고자 하는 의도일까요. 요네즈 켄시는 Foorin team E 라는 신유닛과 함께 『파프리카』의 영어버젼 『Paprika』를 2019년 12월 1일에 공개하였습니다. Foorin team E에 team E는 영어를 모국어로 하는 친구들, English native team이라는 뜻이라네요. 나름대로 지구인의 축제를 상징하기 위해 멤버 구성도 신경을 쓴 듯한 느낌이죠? NHK의 홍백가합전이라는 연말 최대의 음악축제에도 요네즈 켄시, Foorin (선배님들..?) 과 함께 출연하는 것이 확정되었다고하니, 거의 국가적인 차원에서 밀어주는 것 같은 느낌이네요. 

 

최근에 공개 된 따끈따끈한 음악이라 그럴까요? 상큼한 느낌도 강하고 가볍게 듣기에 너무 좋네요. 영어공부는 덤ㅎㅎㅎ그럼 다 같이 Foorin team E의 『Paprika』를 한번 들어보실까요?

Foorin team E 의 멤버들, 좌측부터 렌, 재스민, 에반젤린, 콜밴, 그리고 가운데 작은 소녀가 인기의 클라라 로즈

핸드폰으로 볼 때 가사가 너무 지저분하게 나오길래 폰트를 작게 했는데, 컴퓨터로는 또 너무 작게 보이네요. ㅠㅠ 컨트롤키 + 휠로 약간 확대해서 보셔야 될 것 같아요.
